Service and Maintenance
SERVICE ALERT
Please be careful of "Third Party" or non-factory authorized service
departments working on your scanner. Below is an example a service
department not using OEM parts. The image on the left is an "off the
shelf" installed by a non-authorized service department. This
power supply can be purchased for less than $40 but is totally
underrated for the 480 can could cause a serious problem to the
scanner.
On the right is a factory power supply specifically designed and
tested for the 480 by Pie Medical. We only use power supplies
designed and tested by Pie Medical for their equipment.
