The Scanner 200 VET is an all-round ultrasound system.  It is perfectly suited for a variety of examinations in the veterinary field, for which a choice of probes is available for both abdominal and endorectal examinations.  The Scanner 200 VET is an ideal diagnostic tool for specialized practices and mixed practices.

The Scanner 200 VET is not only suited for the detection and evaluation of pregnancies and ovaries in large and small animals, but it is also an idea scanner for the examination of abdominal organs in small animals, for instance liver and kidneys.  Extensive fetal age calculation packages are available for Equine, Bovine, Sheep, Swine, and Llama.  THe measurement results are displayed in a clearly formatted report.  A ratio calculation for pathologic tissue in tendons is also incorporated.

Like other Pie Medical products, the Scanner 200 VET is extremely suited for indoor scanning or for scanning under rough conditions in the field.  The housing is made of impact resistant and easy to clean polyurethane, while the total unit gets added protection from a sturdy protective brace, which can also be used as a carrying handling.

System functions are easily selected with a trackball in combination with the pull-down-menus.  All user settings and menus are selected with a single key-stroke, greatly simplifying operation and saving a great deal of time.
